Dr. Angela Lassiter is a graduate of Ross University.
She joined our team in August 2024. Prior to joining us, she practiced for 10 years as an emergency and critical care veterinarian as well as 6 years as a primary care veterinarian. She has also had experience as a shelter vet and a research vet.
When Dr. Lassiter is not here with us, she is working at Carolina Tiger Rescue in Pittsboro where she has been the veterinarian for the past 16 years. Dr. Lassiter enjoys all aspects of patient care but is especially interested in surgery and ultrasound imaging.
She is a mom to 1 incredibly amazing daughter, 4 poorly trained but very sweet dogs, 3 wonderful cats and 1 terrible cat, and 3 good laying hens. If she ever has any free time, she enjoys traveling, scuba diving, reading, gardening, crafting or maybe just getting a little extra sleep.
